Sophia Therriault writes short fiction and novels. She holds a bachelor's degree in psychology with a minor in English (creative writing). She's a queer, bipolar woman who's passionate about writing stories with positive mental health and LGBTQIA+ representation. Her stories "English Ivy" and "Mushroom Zombies" have been published by IndieItPress and The Oval respectively.
"English Ivy" is a flash-fiction piece told from the perspective of an English ivy houseplant. The story finished in 5th place in IndieItPress's Napkin Micirofiction Contest in 2021. It was published in IndieItPress's anthology Courageous Creative in 2022.
"Mushroom Zombies" follows the story of Alyssa and her best friend Taylor as they navigate through a complicated friendship dynamic and Taylor's next big novel idea.
